It is at times like this that I wish I'd made the decision to go to a university that was a little closer to home. It was my birthday this weekend and I had organized to go home to see my family and friends, as you do. My flatmates were all going home for the weekend and going out in a university town on Friday or Saturday is far too expensive, so I swapped a Saturday of overpriced, oversweet cocktails for a four-hour drive.
