For Trouble Free Navigation Use The Roadmate 1400 Series
The Magellan RoadMate 1400 series hit stores in January of this year. I was probably one of the first people to buy the RoadMate 1400 GPS Receiver and start using it. Wherever I go, whether on business trips, family vacations, or quick weekend getaways, I never fail to use my Magellan RoadMate 1400. Ever since I bought it, Ive bragged about its great features to all my friends. My best friend was so impressed with my GPS when he borrowed it for his Christmas vacation that he finally decided to buy one for himself. But since other higher end models, like the RoadMate 1412 and 1430, have also released this year, he wants to know which of these RoadMate GPS navigation systems is best for him. Although they all belong to the same series, these models do differ in important ways.
The common feature in these Magellan RoadMate 1400 series navigation systems is their large color touch screen, which measures 4.3 inches. Their sleek, ultra-thin design makes them stylish to use and easy to carry. All of these models also have QuickSpel and SmartDetour features. With just a few keystrokes, you can search for an address or point of interest from a list of available locations with QuickSpel. It will also check your spelling for you. If you are already enroute and there is a traffic jam, their SmartDetour feature will immediately devise a quick detour to help you save time.
The RoadMate 1412 and 1430 also come with SayWhere text-to-speech, which provides voice directions and announces street names. These GPS receivers are loaded with built-in maps of the entire United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. They also have a more comprehensive points of interest database that includes nearly 6 million POIs. It never has been easier to find grocery stores, gas stations, hotels, hospitals, and banks. In addition, the RoadMate 1430 has a live traffic feature that provides traffic updates while you drive.
All of these RoadMate GPS navigation systems are really good choices. So Im going to leave the final decision to my good friend. However, I know that whichever model he decides to buy, one thing is for sure; he wont be going around in circles anymore! With one of these RoadMate GPS navigation systems, you will never get lost again.
