Actually, it really shouldn't be all that important. As I've told you many times, our founding fathers felt that in times of peace 95% of all governance should come from the local, not the federal level. Not one of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence or who participated in the design of our Constitution ever dreamed that the federal government would become the out-of-control behemoth it is today.
